Our first stop will be at the historical monastery of Kera Kardiotissa dating back to the 14th century. Afterwards we head to Lasithi Plateau, one of the few areas in the Mediterranean with permanent imhabitants at an altitude over 800 metres. It is surrounded by the Dikti Mountains and 18 quiant villages, which still retain the atmosphere of another era. You can admire there the remaining famous windmills and the Venetians ditches, the drainage system of Plateau.  The next stop will be the village od Psychro, where you can visit the famous Dicteon Cave, where according to the myth God Zeus was born. In the village you can also visit the local traditional workshop with handmade ceramics. Our last stop will be the capital of the villages of Plateau Tzermiado.
