“Travel with us back in time on this excursion and feel like in another era!”

The trip starts from the beautiful harbour of Elounda, where we will get on board the island of Spinalonga. This famous island was the last active leper colonies in Europe. It carries a long history and holds a special place in the Greeks’ hearts, while it preserves its beauty despite its dark past. There will be a guided tour (app. 1,5 hour) and we will depart for one of the bays around. There we will stop for swimming and enjoy the BBQ served on the boat (Cretan traditional pork chop*, greek salad, feta cheese, bread, wine/Fanta and seasonal fruits).  Last stop is the capital town of Lasithi, Agios Nikolaos. There will be time to relax in a cafe next to the famous Lake of Voulismeni and enjoy some shopping in local shops.

10:50   Spinalonga island

12:30   Boat departure from Spinalonga

13:00   Swimming & BBQ

14:30   Departure to Elounda

15:15   Arrival to Agios Nikolaos

16:45   Departure from Agios Nikolaos

17:45   Arrival back to Malia Church
